Hinton Newport have received a number of final offers for land at The Forty
incorporating a development of 10 residential units with outline planning permission.

A number of offers have been received for the Doctors’ Surgery in Drove
Road incorporating development potential and would indicate that the investment
market is improving. Hinton Newport have been able to advise with regard to
the future redevelopment of the site and for the sale.

Peter Maksymuk has been undertaking the Contract Administration of this £180,000
refurbishment which is nearing completion and incorporates a complete refurbishment
of the Edwardian Rectory incorporating an Orangery, re-roofing, provision of
a heating system and zoning, and provision of an Energy Performance Certificate
for future use.  The Close, Pewsey
The original preliminary contract price obtained by the clients
was reduced by £50,000 and the project was supervised under a JCT Minor
Works contract. The specification was provided by Hinton Newport under the
National Building Specification system. The contractors’ payments were
under Certificate and a penalty clause inserted for non-performance. Further

Hinton Newport to Contract Administrate The Close, Pewsey
Hinton Newport has been awarded the Contract Administration for the supervision of the refurbishment of The Close in Pewsey. The role will involve providing specification and drawings, obtaining tenders, awarding the JCT Contract and Administrating the payment and quality control of the work.
Due to the design expertise and experience they were able to reduce the forecasted pre-tender enquiry cost by implementation of better design and tendering procedures.
Hinton Newport is able to advise on contract procedures, provide energy certificates, and obtain Local Authority building Control and Planning Certificates for compliance.

Hinton Newport - Advise on Old Town Development
Hinton Newport have been instructed by Becks Development Limited to provide them with professional services in their proposed development at 59 North Street,
Swindon, incorporating the conversion of 3 flats and 2 new single terrace properties. Services will include providing Party Wall Agreements,
supervision, specifications, co-ordinating health and safety regulations and fast track design service.
A completion Certificate for mortgage lending will be provided on completion of each unit.
The flat conversion scheme incorporates using the existing three floors of the shop including the lower basement, which has previously
had damp proofing works undertaken. The front of the flats will involve lowering the front pavement and providing an attractive railed
frontage and light through additional windows to the lower basement flat.
This development is fairly typical of a number of new developments in the Old Town Core where existing redundant brownfield space is
being fully utilised for residential accommodation. Any landowners will any available space either commercial, or residential with potential
